Our Coco Shirt in Mud Dyed Silk. Produced in a Chinese silk fabric, the men's Coco Shirt has a slightly oversized fit and features a faux leather collar, mother of pearl buttons and a curved hem.
This garment is manufactured from carefully sourced silk fabric, meticulously finished by hand in China. The fabric is vegetable dyed, using crushed roots and water. A special mud is soaked into the fabric then washed off and left to dry in the sun. Once dry, the fabric is stored, during which time the coated surface sets. Variations in color, texture and surface are part of its character. The garment shall be shaped by its wearer and will naturally distress over time to finish the design process.
