Gabrio Bini
Gabrio Bini with his wife Genevieve and son Giotto grows and creates the wine Serragghia on the volcanic island Pantelleria south of Sicily, Italy. The vines on their estate, some over 100 years old, are cultivated with the greatest respect for the plant, the fruit and nature. Zibibbo vines are used for white, Catarratto and Pignatello vines are used to make the red Fanino. Once the vines are harvested, the grapes are macerated then aged in buried amphoras for many months. The result is unique. The mid opening juices are complex, spicy and full of freshness.
In September 2021, Gabrio Bini overdyed a number of Our Legacy silk shirts by hand in his amphoras holding the red Fanino. All shirts are special, some splashed and dip dyed, some left over night to capture the full body of the color.
